For more than a century, SMITH The Kids’ Play Place in the Park has been providing free magical play experiences to children from all of Philadelphia’s neighborhoods, the surrounding suburbs and beyond. SMITH’s program of play serves over 100,000 children and adults annually.
But it takes a lot to keep SMITH free. There a several ways that you can support SMITH: make a donation, become a member, contribute through United Way donor choice option #08371, establish a corporate partnership, or contribute to the capital campaign. Your generous tax-deductible contribution will enable SMITH to continue to maintain and expand its unique free program of play.
Your annual gift will:
- Help keep the Playhouse warm in the winter
- Buy wax for the Ann Newman Giant Wooden Slide
- Keep the Playground and Playhouse clean and safe
- Buy paper towels and soap….
Your capital gift will:
- Restore the Playhouse terrace
- Relocate the parking lot
- Add water play
- Renovate the Playhouse interior
